Three Things I Learned, July 27—Good News Sunday
“News is what powerful people want to keep hidden. Everything else is just publicity.” Bill Moyers
Some days we just need some quick good news.
1. "Convicted US felon to arrive in Scotland," said the Scottish newspaper The National ahead of the felon’s visit to the country to open a new golf course. Police are braced for widespread protests across the county.
2. The regime froze $6.8 billion in education funds a month ago, and now are releasing some of that money, including $67 million to Colorado. This is great news for sure, and it is also just trying to do something people want to distract from Epstein. Hey felon, try doing a lot more of this….it might help! And of course the congressionally approved funds should never had been frozen by the regime in the first place.
3. From the AP: “A federal judge blocked the Trump administration from ending birthright citizenship for the children of parents who are in the U.S. illegally, issuing the third court ruling blocking the birthright order nationwide since a key Supreme Court decision in June.” SCOTUS is gonna really have to work hard to twist its logic to rule against every lower court on this one.
And a Sunday bonus: Convicted Republican congressman George Santos has reported to prison to begin his seven-year sentence after pleading guilty to wire fraud, identity theft, and money laundering.
And because this is good news Sunday, a second bonus. Jacob Chansley, better known as the Q Anon Shaman, the Jan. 6 insurrectionist wearing the Viking horns and American flag face paint, and who was pardoned by the felon along with the other insurrectionists, this week replied to a post that contained the felon’s 2023 mugshot, “F--- this stupid piece of s---…what a fraud.” He also wrote that the felon is at the mercy of the Epstein thing. Gosh, with thanks like that the felon might never issue a pardon again. Sorry, George Santos.
Brilliant, pal! Best “Good News Sunday” edition yet! PACKED with goodness! Thanks!
